In March 2025 as part of International Women’s Day, we focused on the experiences of women who have experienced homelessness in Liverpool, holding discussion groups, creative workshops and working in partnership with homelessness services to ensure that women’s voices are at the centre of our work.
Our events aimed to raise awareness of the challenges faced by women experiencing homelessness, while creating space for meaningful conversations. We attempted to offer women with lived experience the opportunity to share their stories, connect with others, and help shape the narrative around women’s homelessness.
All our events were inclusive – when we use the word “women,” we recognise and welcome trans and non-binary individuals.
